That's right, GhstL8y is writing a book!  And I need your help. 

   I'm in the process of putting together a compilation of 100 TRUE stories of ghosts and paranormal phenomena.  The book is slated to be named FROM BEYOND.  If you would like to see your story published, you can submit it here for review.  The top 100 stories will make it into the book.  The other good stories will be held on file for the next book, considering this one goes well.  Please make sure you read and agree with the terms below before submitting your story.  Please only submit stories of your own personal experiences, not those you've heard of or that happened to someone you know, however they can certainly submit their story and use you as a witness if this is the case.  I am not interested in urban legends at this time.  I am interested in stories from around the world, but initial publishing will be in the US and hopefully available abroad in the future.  Your stories will be better received if they come with photo(s) and you must own the photos.  If you do not have a photo, you can illustrate your experience or describe it in detail so that my illustrator can work with it.  Please limit your illustrations to three.  I am not interested in stories about photos that are found on the internet or that are taken on webcams at this time unless you own the webcam or the photo on the internet, and this must be able to be proven.  Please use the form to submit your story.  If you have photos, I will ask for them to be sent to me by mail if your story is accepted.  Thank you for helping me put together an exciting book.

What was your state of mind before, during and after the experience.  Example:  I was sleeping just before, then awakened and hazy during, and terrified after. (or)  I had been drinking before, was quite drunk during, and confused after.

Do you have any proof to back up your story?  If yes, what form(s) of proof do you have? (Proof can be photos, sworn testimonials, historical records, etc.  Your story will not be rejected if you cannot provide any proof, but we will do our own research to authenticate your story.)

PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING:

   Your story will be reviewed and researched prior to acceptance.  This research may or may not include an investigation by a local paranormal investigation group.  Your privacy will be maintained through this process.  You will not be paid for your story or photos and once submitted they becomes property of the author for FROM BEYOND only and will not be used for any purpose other than the book.  You must fill out the form completely or your story will be automatically rejected.  If your story is accepted, the author may contact you for more information or verification.  The author reserves the right to research your story and photo(s) and the location of the story for authenticity.  The author reserves the right to edit the content of the story for length and grammar and entertainment, but will not change the story.  Original photos must be owned by you and unedited.  I will accept a second copy of a photo edited for light and contrast only, but I must also have the original.  A negative may be requested if the photo is from a film camera.  All photos will be analyzed by myself, as well as a professional photographer, developer, and/or graphics designer.  If a photo is found to be forged or faked, your story will be immediately rejected.  I will not accept video or clips from video.  You may request to keep names and addresses anonymous but must submit this information to the author.  If you request anonymity I will change the names in the story for publication and will note this at the beginning of the story, but for the purpose of research, I need the story to be accurate when submitted.  If your story is accepted, a notarized affidavit stating that you swear to the accuracy of the story will be required.  This affidavit will be forwarded to you at the appropriate time and must be returned in a timely manner, otherwise your story will not be published.
